Communication basically means the act of transferring information from one person or place to another. This can be verbal, (through voice), written, (letters, emails, etc.), visual (presentations, etc.), or non-verbal, (body language, facial expressions, etc.).

2. Non- Verbal Communication

According to research done by Salesforce, approximately 93% of communications are nonverbal. Communication through physical appearance, expressions, body language, visual communication, arm posture, eye contact, the way you dress, and the way you talk are considered non-verbal communication.

Your nonverbal cues are very effective in first impressions and reflect your level of confidence. 

3. Make It Simple & Effective-

In communication, it is important to ensure that you do not make it complex, or difficult to understand.

Make it as simple and effective as possible. Try to use sentences, phrases, and words that are simple and easy to understand for everyone, and correlate the story with the main theme.

Try to express your message in as few words as possible and make it clear and direct.

4. Self Confidence 

It is important to find the correct speed of sound. Take your time, speak calmly, and show confidence in your tone.

Also,

Do not use too high or too low a tone. Do not speak too slowly and try to avoid fillers like- "uh" "ummm" "well" "you know" etc. These words hold no value in communication and show low self-confidence.

Try not to sound aggressive, arrogant, and self-centered, and show that you care about the opinions of others.

Words are powerful and they reflect your attitude. Instead of focusing on negative things, talk about the positive aspects of life. Use words that give positive energy, success, and happiness in life.

Never use words like "This is a problem", "I don't like that" or "I hate this thing" or "This is not possible", etc. These words do not sound like leadership language.

Choose your words wisely, do not use words of toxicity, hatred, brokenness, and negativity.

This is the main difference between talking and conversing. 

Don't ignore other people's opinions, suggestions, or feedback.

Let others bring their honest feedback. This is important to build trust and confidence.

7. Empathize and Respect Others-

Always empathize with people, show them that you care about their feelings and that you can understand and relate to their feelings.

Your ability to empathize creates connections between you and others. Always treat everyone equally and give respect to everyone.

8. Have a Key Point-

Keep the conversation brief and focus on the main points. The information should have one main point and it should also be clear.
